First I want to thank Dorian for filling for me on Saturday. He said he enjoyed it and may want to contribute again some time. My wife Ina has said she may someday want to write a blog or two. Look forward to that.
The Two Dogs Tavern is right on the town square and a popular place for government employees. My band, the “Gutter Minds” started around nine oclock with a set of oldies, Stones, Berry, Toxik Idols then went on to some of the new stuff being done with Rock n’ Roll, Spinner and the Muons, The Lepton Banannas, Mama and the Mooks.
By our third set the room was floating in beer and wine. We played one encore after another and finally were able to shut down around three o’clock. I spent most of Saturday resting but did get together that evening for some unplugged action with friends in the neighborhood.
Sunday I got to spend with the great grandkids. Ina and I took them to Falls Park and watched them play around a picinic of Kushan yam and roast Grassbeak.
Tomorrow: I will get back to stories of Max Gavaskar. We all know her as the most famous being in the galaxy but she was a young woman once and dealt with the issues that all young people have to deal with, hormones, social pressure and pimples.
