Notes From the Author: What kinds of stories are these?

Notes from the Author:

What kind of stories are these?

I was talking to a friend who is currently reading the Gavaskar Field and said she was enjoying it. She did mention that she was curious about the sequel. I tried to give her a one line description of what was to come and she said it helped her. So here is, not a synopsis but a description of all the novels in this series.

The Harappan Secrets is the three volume historical background. Not sure if it will ever see publication but it is the foundation for the entire saga.

The Gavaskar Field is a fun romp with hookers, gamblers and other ne’er-do-wells. I chose to start publication with this book because it is a fun and adventurous way to jump into the series. You don’t need to know all the history to read this one.

Kusha, the next in line, due out near the Holidays, is action, action, action. Things blow up, there are space battles and car chases (really). I think in the long run this one will be my favorite. I love to write action. Visualization is one of my strengths as a writer. There are also some big twists coming.

The Mother of the Galaxy ends the series in grand fashion. The issues dealt with here are galactic in scale. It is also a bit more philosophical and inward looking, exploring what makes the souls of us humans tick? The Mother of the Galaxy is the emotional finale of this series. In other words it is the soul and heart of this project.

That will be the conclusion of the Harappan History Project (at least until the movies start) but not my writing career. I have plans . . .

Stay tuned . . . I also have plans for a fan fiction opportunity.
