Galactic tourism. Not for everyone, that’s for sure. Many worlds do not wish to entertain other-worlders. Some just tolerate it, since it never happens often. There just aren’t enough spaceships available to take on on a joy ride.
There are regular trips to some worlds, provided by Galactic Space, the progeny of the SID, but with completely new management.
Planet Tax is a world where tourism is just tolerated. Why do people go there? Let me try to put this delicately. Beings to to Tax to see the locals for what the locals can do to other sentient beings.
Many of you know that the Tax evolved a conscious pheromone system. They can exert chemicals that affect the emotional states of those around them. The “Red Light” districts of Tax are a popular tourist destination.
There are dramatic vistas on Planet Tax, beautiful mountains, beaches, canyons and more but what people go there for is the “good vibes”.
