Welcome friendly readers. Thanks for being here.
Tourism in the galaxy is not a huge thing. Traveling from one star system to another is an expensive process. First of all you need a vessel. Not everyone can afford one. There are commercial ways to travel, the Fordians and the Lor both offer trips, but they are costly too.
Still, some beings travel for pleasure. The two people I know who have done a lot of travel did not do so for fun. Max Gavaskar and my friend Dorian Thain both said to me they’d rather stay home on Kusha for the most part.
Where to space tourists go? Kusha of course. People come to see where Max lives, they come to see Inspiration Point which used to be called the Toilet Bowl. They come to see the sky, the rings, the twin moons, the aurora and its violet color.
There are other planets that people go to see that are a part of the family of the galaxy. Lor is a common destination as well as Tax and Kalevla. We’ll talk about these places this week and next week we’ll talk about some of the unoccupied tourist destinations and after that we look into some of the primitive cultures that people go to see.
