Greetings thirsty readers. Thanks for being here. Harappa City and all of Kusha recovers from the rollover to the new year. We don’t have many holidays on Kusha. We don’t celebrate Founder’s Day anymore now that Marcus Johnson has fallen from favor.
We do party at the end of the year. My cousin Pando is especially good at it (partying that is).
Pando works at the city jail. He doesn’t get much work there. The place is empty more than it is used. He spend more time dusting that actually guarding some evil person.
I shared a glass (or two) of Oodo with Pando this last holiday. We shared stories from the homeworld (Harappa not Earth). Pando was White Mountain Clan but he lived in the East Valley. I didn’t get to know him well until we moved here to Kusha.
His family helped us back before the Arrival when Dorian and I were escorting Rodin to Harappaholm. We spent a couple of days with Pando’s people before turning south. Back then we knew nothing of Earth. Life was simpler, sweeter.
Never Mix red wine and Oodo.
