Greetings recovering readers. Thanks for being here. If the new year celebrations where you are, are anything like they are here on Kusha then I’m sure you are having a quiet and peaceful morning . . . like me.
Way too much Oodo last night. I just don’t know what my wife’s family sees in the stuff but they can’t seem to celebrate without the horrid drink. I know some of you out there are thinking that if Philip the Bard finds the stuff so foul then why does he drink it? Purely for familial bonding I assure you.
I haven’t spent the entire holiday season drinking and eating. I’ve been working for you my dear readers. I have arranged a meeting with the Mother Herself. She had invited my friend Dorian to spend an afternoon with her and he got permission for me to come along and record their conversation. I will reprint the transcripts here in the blog starting in the Earth month February.
Not long after that will be the release of “Kusha” the novelization of how the Max Gavaskar became known as “The Mother of the Galaxy”.
In the mean time I will continue sharing tales from Kusha and the other inhabited human worlds. We’ll lean more of the customs and entertainments we share here in Harappa City and around the Kushan globe.
I am looking forward to the year with great anticipation. With the release of “The Mother of the Galaxy” this summer that will conclude the Harappan History Project. At that time I will retire. I will continue writing this blog but the cataloging of Harappan history will fall to younger and more capable people.
Tomorrow I’ll share some tales from this just finished holiday season.
Never Mix red wine and Oodo.
