Greetings fine readers. Thanks for being here.
The death watch for planet Harappa continues. Astronomers there claim we are only weeks away from the final destruction of the world I grew up on.
There still stands a house I built with my own hands. I know it still stands because I recently checked the satellite photos and the structure is still there. I picture when I lived in the humble stone and log house. Green grass and wildflowers grew from the foundation. Not any more. Temperatures in Terramark Valley where my cabin stands range from 80º to 90º C.
There may be some wispy remnants of the green things that used to live there but most of Harappa is a charred husk of what the world used to be.
Near the equator the temperatures are over the boiling point for water. I understand that there are still a few mining drones operating, trying to extract the last few bits of illumaphane they are able to.
The orbital platforms have been moved away. They could no longer shield their operators from the radiation of the sun there. They have been put into stellar orbit to observe the final moments of Harappa and to recover what ore they can from the last minute mining operations.
Tomorrow I tell you what’s up with the blue moon.
Never mix red wine and Oodo.
