Greetings intrepid readers. Thanks for being here.
Last week I began telling you about my recent visit with Max Gavaskar.
We spent some time discussing family matters and personal business. Her health is so frail I did not want to bring up anything to controversial. I certainly would not want to cause the mother any stress.
I was surprised that she said she felt that family interractions were really the issue that drove humanity forward. Everything, she says is about people being with friends and family.
She explained that all her work with galactic diplomacy was always about securing for all, the rights to spend time with loved ones.
We’ll talk more about the Fordians later but as the longest lived sentient species in the Milky Way they claim the main function of their society is to visit. They “visit” a lot. That is what they do.
Max takes this to a more personal, a more human level. “It is only when we share our experiences with someone who is truly interested that we can appreciate them.”
Never mix red wine and Oodo.
