This week were discussing the Tarsans. They had survived as a Christian underground for generations with little hope of ever being able to go public again . . . until the Harappans first arrived on Earth.
News that the Messiah’s colony had been found was huge on Earth. At first that is. Once the LC discovered that the Harappans had some different ideas about Marcus Johnson, known as the Messiah on Earth but the Founder to Harappans, they change their message.
News reports started claiming that the Harappans had fallen on hard times after the death of Marcus Johnson. It was reported that they had de-evolved some. They weren’t as bright as Earth humans. We were supposed to have become something between the cliche’d cave man of Earth’s prehistory, and modern humans. That way they could dismiss anything we said about their Green Messiah.
Apparently, members of the Tarsans at the time saw in the Harappans an opportunity to connect to humanity that had not been swayed by the LC and their minions, the Criers and Scribes.
We don’t know the names of the Tarsan conspirators that decided that Mary Carmini would be someone they could work with. As soon as Carmini became involved, she was the figurehead of the orginization. It is not known if she was only a figure head or if she took more of a leadership roll. Many current scholars agree that she was most likely the head of the Tarsans until her death on Planet Kusha.
